The RFID chips embedded in the tag enable it to be read remotely from the vehicle.
We add specific cut-outs designed to self-destruct the label in the event of peeling, rendering RFID reading non-functional.

Why choosing our destructible windscreens’ Tags?
Access control and identification of motorized vehicles are recurring issues for parking lot managers, for example to access to companies or sensitive sites such as nuclear power plants.
This is the reason why Etik Ouest has developed a destructible RFID windscreen tag.
This tag has the particularity to be durable over time on glass surfaces such as vehicle windows. The RFID chip (frequency between 860 and 960 MHz), integrated into the tag, can be read from a few meters up to a distance of around ten meters, using fixed or mobile RFID readers.
To combat theft and misappropriation of these tags by ill-intentioned persons, our label has been developed to tear in the event of an attempt to peel it off. As a result, the label is intended for a single vehicle only, and cannot be repositioned on another windscreen: tamper-proofing and security guaranteed!
